Before startingThe flash capacitor can retain a dangerous charge after switch-off, even with the main battery removed. Read the model-specific service safety notes before opening the camera. Internal electrical work requires suitable training and equipment.
What is in the combined scan
The combined version 1.4 scan contains Level 2 starting at PDF page 1 and Level 3 starting at page 153. It does not contain Level 1. A separate AEP/UK Level 1 is saved for FD200 only; it is not assigned to FD100 or the H variants.
Board variants matter
The service notes distinguish FD100 CCD/board types and require the matching type for replacement. The Level 2 cover also directs FC-89 circuit details to Level 3. Check the installed type before ordering a replacement.
Find the assembly chapter
The contents list the FDD and FDD block at printed page 2-3, the lens assembly at 2-4, and the LCD module at 2-5. The drive-disassembly chapter is separate at 2-7. Exploded views and part lists are in chapter 6.
