Getting started

Where are my pictures?

Sign in, then open My Images. Public photographs also appear in the Gallery. Private files are only available to their owner after signing in.

How do I make an album?

Choose an album folder during upload, or open Organise my files from My Images to create folders and move pictures. Album covers and descriptions can be changed from the album page.

How do I share a picture?

Open the photograph and use Share next to Previous / Next. Copy the short link, or use your device’s share menu when available. The read-only link field also works without JavaScript. To discuss the picture here, use Share in Network.

Will editing a picture change its original?

The editor works on a separate copy. Download the result and upload it when you are happy with it.

Is this the main Mavica website?

Yes. Mavica.net is the new home of the original Germanplace Mavica community. Original accounts, photographs, conversations and Wiki content have moved here. Old links redirect to their corresponding addresses.

What about older browsers?

Navigation and ordinary forms do not depend on JavaScript. Compact view reduces picture sizes. Media playback depends on your browser; the original download is also available.
